The resort is uniquely positioned as the only one at the renowned Knysna Heads to have direct beach access, offering a serene escape just metres from the water’s edge. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or adventure, Under Milkwood offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and convenient amenities.

Rooms & Features

  • Waterfront Chalet: The Waterfront chalets are situated above the beachfront, approximately five metres back from the lagoon. These four units offer unparalleled views of the water and feature fully-equipped kitchens, sundecks, and BBQ facilities.
  • Hillside Chalet: Nestled amongst Milkwood trees along a gentle slope about 50 metres back from the beach area, Hillside chalets provide panoramic views of the lagoon. Each unit includes a fully-equipped kitchen, own sundeck, and BBQ facilities.
  • Middle Chalet: Located between Waterfront and Hillside chalets, these units are within 10 to 20 metres of the beach but do not offer direct lagoon views. They feature all the necessary amenities for self-catering stays.
  • Curlew Chalet: The Curlew is a one-bedroom split-level chalet with an upstairs living area and bathroom downstairs, offering a magnificent view of the lagoon. It accommodates two adults only.
  • Maerose Hillside Chalet: This two-bedroomed hillside chalet offers stunning views of the lagoon from its white-washed interior. Like other units, it includes a fully-equipped kitchen, own sundeck, and BBQ facilities.
