FindMy Business Subscribers Policies



Refund Policy

  1. Scope: Applies to all 12-month business subscriptions billed in monthly instalments via FindMy.
  2. Cooling-Off / Initial Refund Window:
    • Full refund if cancelled within the first 14 days of the initial subscription start date.
    • Eligibility requires written notification via email to support@findmy.co.za within the 14-day period.
  3. Pro-Rata Refunds After Initial Window:
    • No refunds for unused months after the initial 14-day period.
    • All paid instalments are non-refundable once the initial window lapses.
  4. How to Request a Refund:
    • Email support@findmy.co.za with “Refund Request” in the subject line.
    • Include account name, subscription start date, and reason for cancellation.
    • Approved refunds processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
  5. Exceptions:
    • No setup or onboarding fees are charged.
    • Legislative exceptions (e.g., service outages >72 hours) handled case-by-case under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
  6. Legal Compliance: This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa).

Cancellation & Auto-Renewal Policy

  1. Term & Billing:
    • 12-month term billed in monthly instalments.
    • Automatic renewal for another 12-month term on the same terms.
  2. How to Cancel:
    • Cancel by emailing support@findmy.co.za.
    • Must be received at least 30 days before the renewal date to avoid renewal charges.
  3. Effective Date of Cancellation:
    • Notice ≥30 days before renewal: cancellation takes effect on the next renewal date, with full access until term end.
    • Notice <30 days before renewal: cancellation takes effect at the end of the following 12-month term.
  4. No Early Termination Fees: No penalties or charges after cancellation takes effect.
  5. Confirmation of Cancellation:
    • Email confirmation sent within 5 business days of request.
    • Follow up if confirmation is not received.
  6. Legal Compliance: Subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (South Africa). Disputes may be referred to the National Consumer Commission.
