Pezulu Tree House Lodge is an exclusive retreat nestled within Guernsey Private Nature Reserve, a lush and expansive area of 400 hectares in Limpopo province, South Africa. The lodge comprises ten unique tree houses that accommodate up to 37 guests, ensuring a personalised experience for each visitor. Each tree house is built around the natural canopy of growing trees, seamlessly blending nature with comfort. Solid wooden walkways lead you to your private sanctuary, and every unit features a spacious balcony or deck where you can observe wildlife from the comfort of your room. The lodge's proximity to Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route makes it an ideal base for exploring South Africa’s natural wonders.

  • Teak 1 (Standard Tree House): The Teak 1 tree house features one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, along with an indoor bathroom and outdoor shower. The private deck is perfect for afternoon sundowners and game viewing. Rates cover accommodation and use of the lodge’s amenities.
  • Teak 2 (Standard Family Tree House): This family-friendly tree house has two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and outdoor shower. Relax on the spacious outdoor deck while enjoying the beauty of the African bush. Rates include all standard lodge facilities.
  • Falsethorn (Standard / Family Tree House): The Falsethorn tree house offers two bedrooms, one with a king bed and single bed, and another with two single beds. The private veranda is ideal for birdwatching and game viewing. Rates cover accommodation and access to the lodge’s amenities.
  • Knobthorn (Superior Family Tree House): The Knobthorn tree house features a large bedroom partitioned into separate sleeping areas, including a queen bed and two single beds. The indoor shower is complemented by an outdoor patio offering breathtaking sunset views. Rates include all standard lodge facilities.
  • Bushwillow (Superior Tree House): This superior tree house includes two bedrooms with an indoor bathroom featuring a corner bathtub and an outdoor shower. One patio offers a private water hole view, perfect for game viewing. Rates cover accommodation and use of the lodge’s amenities.
  • Marula (Luxury Family Tree House): The Marula luxury family tree house has two spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and outdoor shower. Two decks provide ample space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Extra single beds are available by prior arrangement. Rates include all standard lodge facilities.
  • Drunken Parrot (Honeymoon Treehouse): This luxurious honeymoon suite features a king-size bed overlooking the bush, a sunken bath with views of the wildlife, and a balcony for private game viewing at a water hole. Rates cover accommodation and use of the lodge’s amenities.
  • Mountain View (Luxury Tree House): Sitting 7m high in a Jackal berry tree, this luxury tree house offers incredible views and luxurious finishes. The tranquil setting may make you reluctant to leave your room. Extra single beds are available by prior arrangement. Rates include accommodation and use of the lodge’s amenities.
  • Dream (Luxury Honeymoon TreeHouse): The Dream tree house is built on two Marula trees, featuring a spacious main bedroom, a cosy lounge, and a beautifully decorated bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath. A separate walkway leads to an outdoor shower. Rates cover accommodation and use of the lodge’s amenities.
  • Zebrawood (Self-Catering Bush Cabin): The Zebrawood cabin offers two bedrooms with twin beds and additional sleeper couches in the lounge area. The large open-plan living space has a wrap-around deck for game viewing, located within walking distance from the main lodge.
