South Africa s BIGGEST & most iconic Halloween tradition returns to haunt the streets of Cape Town!

Each year, thousands rise to transform the city center into a massive, jaw-dropping spectacle of the undead. Whether you re bringing a highly detailed special effects masterpiece, a casual costume, or just coming down to witness the madness you are part of the horde.

This event is completely open to everyone. Grab your friends, rally your family, invite every freak you know, and let's paint the city red. Get into character, bring the shock factor, and let's make this the most atmospheric walk yet.

Walking For A Cause While we take over the streets, we re doing it for a vital cause. The Cape Town Zombie Walk proudly supports the Lucky Lucy Foundation, helping rescue and rehabilitate abused and neglected animals.

The afterparty is strictly 18+ only. The infection goes dark when night falls, and we are moving the party indoors for an unforgettable, themed Halloween night. We will be taking over one of Cape Town's top venues with great views over the city from our rooftop venue expect massive bass, intense visuals, and an unmatched rooftop vibe.

Quick Rules from the Shadows:

• Dress the Part: Bring back the classic horror vibe. Go full gore, act the part, and let's give the city a real show.
• Weapon Props: Fake weapons only no sharp blades. Any toy or prop firearms must have a bright orange tip.
• No Alcohol on the Street: Keep it sealed during the walk. Save the drinking for the official 18+ afterparty venue.
• Obey the Horde Masters: Follow all directions from our marshals, medics, security, and traffic officials to keep the night smooth.
