THE SLEEP SWEET SPOT
What healthy sleep looks like, and how to find yours.
While nutrition, exercise, and supplementation frequently dominate conversations around health optimisation, sleep remains the foundation upon which physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being are built. Yet many people struggle to understand what healthy sleep actually looks like, how much they truly need, and what happens when sleep becomes disrupted.
Prof Dale Rae, one of South Africa s leading sleep researchers, unpacks the science of sleep and shows you how to find your personal sleep sweet spot. You ll leave with evidence-based strategies for sleeping better in a world that seems designed to keep you awake.
This is an interactive evening. The talk closes with an open Q&A, a rare chance to put your own sleep questions directly to one of the country s top sleep experts.
Your Speaker:
Prof Dale Rae (PhD) - Associate Professor at the University of Cape Town and Director of Sleep Science Institute. Her research covers sleep, circadian rhythms, mental health, cardio-metabolic disease and performance. This talk is for anyone who wakes up tired, struggles to switch off at night, or wants to get more out of the work they already put into their health.
