A towering masterpiece of the chamber music repertoire comes to life in an unforgettable morning of music.
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky composed his Piano Trio in A minor, Op. 50, la m moire d un grand artiste in memory of a great artist as a deeply personal tribute to his close friend, pianist and composer Nikolai Rubinstein. Moving from profound grief and lyrical introspection to moments of radiant vitality, the work traces an extraordinary emotional journey before returning, finally, to quiet remembrance.
Join Suzanne Martens (violin), Peter Martens (cello), and Megan-Geoffrey Prins (piano) for a powerful performance of Tchaikovsky s monumental trio.
