Queer Surf Cape Town monthly meetup

Join us for our monthly meetup, and paddle off the winter blues! As always, all boards, all bodies are welcome! Bring your shortboard, mid-length, log, SUP, or bodyboard, come for a swim, or just bring the doggos and kids for a beach day :)

No surfing experience or gear is required. If you'd like some help or encouragement catching waves for the first (or 50th) time, we'll have folks available to help out. If you need gear, we get wetsuits and boards from Lifestyle Surf Shop at no cost.

If you need gear: meet 8:30 at Lifestyle Surf Shop, Surfer's Corner, Muizenberg Beach.

If you have your own gear, meet 09:00 on the beach in front of Ocean Basket, ready to paddle out.

We usually surf for about an hour, then those that would like to can get coffee / lunch after somewhere along the beachfront (food and drink at your own cost). If the weather plays along, we'll picnic on the beach, so bring something warm to get dressed into afterwards.

The event is free, but please book a ticket so we can get an idea of numbers.
