Mama Mia Reimagined

This well know musical has been adapted to suit all ages. It is a dance performance involving many students of various ages and skill levels. The sequence of songs has been carefully chosen as we begin our story on a Greek Island. Donna owns a Hotel which is in much need of some TLC while her daughter Sophie, full of hopes and dreams of new adventures, is also head over heels in love with Sky.

Sky proposes, much to the joy of Sophie and her friends. Donna on the other hand is concerned that the hotel that is falling apart will not be ready for all the guests Sophie is sure to invite to the wedding. Guests begin arriving on the Island and a bachelorette party is enjoyed by all. Donna reminisces about Sophies childhood and the young woman she has become but Grandma is adamant that Sophie is too young to be tied down and should rather travel and see the world.

Donna tries to persuade Grandma and caution her that she is causing unnecessary unhappiness but Grandma refuses to back down. In the end there is a wedding and a 'happily every after'.
