A Born Wenntertainer

Julian Wenn is a Cape Town-based artist who travels extensively across South Africa's countryside and coastline, creating music and cooking at the fires of seasonal gatherings. During the summertime, he shares Bushman tales in ancient caves and guides knowledge seekers on epic sound journeys with his soulful voice and thought-provoking lyrics.

He has recently completed his debut solo EP behind the guitar, and taken it to the coast from the Western Cape, performing in Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, to the Eastern Cape, performing in Storms River Village and at the Redclay Cafe in Hogsback.

He is currently in residency on the South Coast at Rocky Ridge, an established live music venue, where he is honing his skills, furthering his repertoire, and writing and polishing new and old material.

He has consecutively travelled and toured the UK, playing festivals and sightseeing along the way. From busking on the streets to performing at festivals, Julian lives through his guitar, blending Afro-reggae and contemporary melodies into deep, percussive, and natural sounds. Music is his medicine, and he invites you to listen and discover healing through sound.
