Johannesburg Hiking Club, Monthly Sunday Club Hike at Castle Gorge, Magaliesberg - Sunday 9th August

If you haven't been to Castle Gorge yet, now is your chance! This is definitely one of our most memorable hikes in the Magaliesberg. So much to see and do.

There are crystal clear pools, waterfalls, astounding rock formations, and some wildlife to be spotted. See if you can spot the Giraffe.

It is a members-only hike, but there are 10 visitor permits up for grabs (they go fast so act fast). Why not become a JHC member? Then you can 'sommer' just pitch up and hike.

Buy a ticket for each person in your group and we will send your permit and maps two days before your hike. The ticket you receive from Quicket is NOT the permit. Remember No Permit, No Hike.

We rate this hike moderate/difficult, this means that new hikers with little-to-no hiking fitness will find it to be very challenging. First-time hikers may want to do some easier hikes before attempting this one.

Meeting Place is at Castle Gorge Parking - 07.00am. If you are late, you will get left behind!
