Young Steinway Artist Leo Gevisser debuts for the JMS on 16 August. Leo is a graduate of New York s Juilliard School of Music and winner of several prizes at the 16th Concours International de Paris de Or ans. He has been invited to perform as soloist in festivals in France and Italy.

Liszt : Two Legends
The Johannesburg Musical Society 2026 Series features prestigious artists from Spain, Bulgaria, Russia, Azerbaijan, France, the UK and South Africa. Eight specially curated concerts shine the spotlight squarely on pianists, with a sprinkling of strings. All the artists have won multiple competitions and are highly sought after soloists and chamber musicians.
All Concerts take place on Sunday afternoons at 15:00 in the Linder Auditorium, Wits Education Campus, Parktown. There is safe, easy to find parking and on-site refreshments of coffee, tea, wine and snacks.
