Intellego means I understand in Latin. By the end of this masterclass, you ll understand why Jurgen Gouws and his wines have earned such a loyal following.

Jurgen started Intellego as a small side project in 2009 while working at Lammershoek. Today, he works with vineyards across the Swartland, taking a minimal-intervention approach in the cellar and using techniques such as whole-bunch fermentation and skin contact across different wines.

We ll be opening five bottles from the Intellego line-up and getting into the vineyards, stories and decisions behind each one. Chef Blaine will be pairing every pour with a snack, because learning about wine is much better when there s something good to eat between glasses.
