George Open Gardens 2026

The George Open Gardens project was initiated by friends of BADISA in 2010 and is an important fundraising event for the George branch. All proceeds from ticket sales go to BADISA George.

This year the event is on Saturday 7 November from 9 am to 4 pm. Tickets are R70 per person. Accompanied school-going children are welcome to come along free.

Come enjoy a stunning day being inspired, entertained and refreshed. George Open Gardens is an opportunity to swap garden tips, ideas and stories with like-minded folk.

The gardens, generously opened up to the public by their owners, reflect a variety of gardening spaces ranging from small retirement living gardens to large smallholding gardens. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

NB: Once you have obtained your ticket, show your code at one of the anchor gardens on the day to obtain your map and list of gardens:
