Explore the stunning 560-hectare Cumberland Private Nature Reserve, east of Pietermaritzburg. Discover pristine savanna, woodland, wetlands, deep gorges, waterfalls and spectacular cliff faces. A fantastic adventure for nature lovers, photographers and experienced hikers!

Regular hikers: Grade 2.5

Casual hikers: Grade 3.5

Cumberland is a private reserve and is closed to general day visitors. Access details will be sent to confirmed participants via WhatsApp.

A minimum of 10 confirmed bookings is required for the hike to proceed. If the minimum is not met, refunds will be processed.
