Barefoot Arts Meander

The Barefoot Arts Meander 2026 is a curated route of books, film, theatre, music & open art studios over the Heritage Day long weekend, 24 to 27 September 2026.T

Local artists will be opening their studios to the public, and curated artist collections will be showcased in various other venues. The meander extends further to include a wider range of the arts i.e. nationally acclaimed theatre productions, an Oscar nominated film, best-selling authors and writing workshops. The mapped route is designed to encourage movement between homes, venues, and restaurants encouraging curiosity, conversation and discovery of our local creative talent, all whilst showcasing the beauty of our Eastern Cape landscape.
