A Night of Comedy with Alan Committie

Much loved South African comedian Alan Committie is bringing his brand-new stand-up show to the Garden Route this October and November, with once-off performances in St Francis Bay, Port Elizabeth, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna.

With 28 years of making people laugh around South Africa and as far afield as Los Angeles, New York and London, Committie returns with an evening of hilarity covering passport photos, whether SA could win a war against America, rental car stress, audiobooks gone wrong, musical theatre escapes, Italian bus journeys and online password pressures plus he brings out his flipchart to tackle relationships and anti-malaria medication.

This all-new solo show features his trademark witty wordplay, fast-paced japes and jibes, madcap physical hi-jinx, and a comic look at events around the world over the past 12 months.

Alan Committie has written 28 solo stand-up shows over the course of his career and is also well known for his starring role in Defending the Caveman (974 performances over 8 years). He was inducted into the Comics Choice Hall of Fame in 2025.
