One of South Africa's most celebrated comedians, Alan Committie returns to Gqeberha with a brand-new stand-up show packed with sharp observations, clever storytelling and his trademark fast-paced wit.

With 28 years of making audiences laugh across South Africa and internationally from Los Angeles and New York to London Alan brings an evening of hilarious takes on everything from passport photos and rental car disasters to online passwords, musical theatre mishaps, Italian bus journeys, relationships and the wonderfully absurd moments of everyday life.

Known for his quick-fire wordplay, physical comedy and razor-sharp humour, Alan also revisits the past year's biggest talking points with the unique perspective that has made him one of the country's favourite comedians.

Alan has written 28 solo stand-up shows throughout his career and is widely recognised for his starring role in Defending the Caveman, which ran for 974 performances over eight years. In 2025, he was inducted into the Savanna Comics' Choice Hall of Fame, cementing his place as one of South Africa's comedy greats.
